Remote areas in Surkhandarya region are provided with mobile communications and Internet services



The mobile operator Ucell installed base stations in the village of Khuzhaango in the Sherabad district of the Surkhandarya region. There was no mobile communication in the village before.

Currently, the total number of installed base stations of mobile communications in the Surkhandarya region is 2 796 units, and the number of subscribers is 1.5 million.

Mobile coverage of the population in the region reaches 98 percent, the Internet - 84 percent and digital television - 100 percent.
